Great post. Let's not forget Abbie Hoffman's role in educating the public about the October Surprise through his 1988 Playboy article (Abbie was a member of the Chicago 7 - who were tried and acquitted on conspiracy charges at the 1968 Democratic Convention). Nor the fact that his brakes were tampered with as he delivered the article - causing a car accident that nearly killed him. Nor that he mysteriously committed suicide a few months later. Funny how often brake tampering and implausible suicide are connected with this story. I write about this in my recent memoir THE MOST REVOLUTIONARY ACT: MEMOIR OF AN AMERICAN REFUGEE (I currently live in exile in New Zealand).
I'm a happily married man. I have 5 wonderful children that are some of my best friends. I have 11 grandchildren. I get along well with all my family.
I promote Twitter because it is the fastest, easiest way to reach a lot of people.
Mankind does better when they are in communication with each other. When communication goes out, trouble starts. Hence, promote the best way to reach a lot of people fast. For more info on twitter:http://is.gd/5CFDZ
